My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: OHIO
So I've been having problems at work for the sake of anonymity I'll not be specific as to the company I work for but I will say this I'm part of something called Cap Team 2. We unload trucks and stock shelves.
I have not been getting a long well with my coworkers I've been getting the sense they want me gone. We have these things called coachings the gist of it is that if I get four I lose my job. When I got my third it was due to the fact that I supposedly had not been able to finish my work. I will be blunt I am expected to get an entire pallet (that covers multiple aisles) done in a certain amount of time the day I received my third coaching I over heard my super visor say "He's going to be busy all day." So they knew I'd be struggling with this and yet later they still had me do it. Now on that day I had helped and was making good progress with the pallet yet I still got a coaching.
For the most part I don't have any help while the rest of the team works together. What I am asking is if I am repeatedly put in a situation and my employers know I can't meet their expectations and ultimately I am terminated. Do I have a case for wrongful termination and can I take a case to court? I ask because I feel I am being set up to fail. At the least is there some other action I can take?
I get we are all responsible for our actions but shouldn't my superior be held responsible to a degree? I mean she's the one who decides who works where. The fact she doesn't even have me working with someone or switches thing up tells me she doesn't want me to succeed. At this point it feels like the definition of insanity repeating the same action expecting a different result she literally is repeating the same process expecting a different result.
