Check the paperwork you received when you were arrested. Under what statute are you charged?

MCL 333.7403 says that possession of up to 25g of a schedule 1/2 substance has a maximum sentence of 4 years. So theoretically, that's your maximum sentence.

And according to http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/pubs/csa/812.htm#b , Marijuana is schedule 1.
