I (male)work for a small company professional services company in Texas. In the past I was working on spreadsheets that were proofed by a fellow employee and it was my responsibilty for correcting and if I had questions on how to correct the spreadsheet, then I could come to fellow female employee. However, a few days ago when I had a question for fellow employee she suggested it was best that I go to owner to ask questions about the spreadsheets. She refused to answer my question at that point and stated so very angrily. I get the feeling that this employee does not want to work with me, unequivocably and in any capacity. I sense that in her behavior and mannerisms.

Recently, owners have hired one other female employee to perform spreadsheet work that I have worked on in the past. I am under the impression neither owner nor employee "trust me" to do the work correctly and it shows in their behavior and mannerism toward me when we communicate.

However, I still have duties and one of the owners seems to have some confidence in me.

Should I contact the owners about this other employees behavior or have I breached trust and I am "beyond the point of no return."
