My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: IL

I am an HR Manager for a federal contract company. Soon after I started working there, I was told that I could not fire black people because they could sue. I could not hire people from India because they are rapists.... etc.... I was also told I had to do illegal background checks. I complained to the President of the company about these issues, and she told me the company was in the process of being sold and it would all change with the new owner. Once the new owner came in, I noticed things did not change. I was offered a new position and decided to leave because of how bad things were. I told the President in May that I was leaving. She asked me to stay. I agreed to turn down the new position as long as the new owner was made aware of the issues they were fixed. She agreed but told me I could not say anything o the new owner and she would. I agreed. However a week or so later the new owner asked what items made my job more difficult, I told her some if the issues. None of these illegal issues were fixed or addressed. However, right after that the President stopped inviting me to meetings, no longer invited me to corporate (I was going monthly). I was told to track all my time, who I spoke with and why (no one else has to do this type of report). The President then called me and asked for me to contact a person from a partner organization and discuss some items with them. I called, and the person asked me to send an email synopsis so they could review, and we could discuss on Monday since they could not talk on the phone then. I did so. Later, I was counseled and had 95% all duties removed because the President said she did not want it items in writing. I was able to show the counseling was not true, so they pulled it from my file- but, they still refused to let me speak with over 50% of the employees. I have been locked of my email box and the shared drives. I have also had emails removed from my email box. I complained about the issues and unfair treatment on four different occasions with the President and the VP. I also called the new owner- no response other than I had to work with the President. Finally, I found out the President lied about me to a company we do business with- The other company knew it was untrue and decided to tell me what she was doing. Finally, the President changes our benefit plan and never told me- instead she told me to send out open season information. Another employee had to tell me afterward that it was not 'open season' and we had extended our current plan and he had no idea why they would not tell me. (Note: I am the one responsible for implementing benefits). I have no idea where we are bidding to do business so cannot research HR laws and the President no longer keeps me in the loop on anything. After five months of this, increased blood pressure and a fifteen-pound weight gain, I filed an EEO complaint. Now the owner and the President want to mediate before it goes fully to EEO (They have had several complaints in the past and lost them) How much should I ask for? I want to resign, and I do not think I could keep working for a company like that. It will take me about four months or longer to find a position that pays what I was offered by the other company in my location. Please, help
