A friend was minding his own business on the internet when he was instant messaged by a cop pretending to be 13. He doesn't remember the cop saying he was 13, but the "girl" proceeded to talk dirty and to get her to leave him alone he not sexually nasty with her. Eventually the "girl" proposed a meeting place. Apparently this happened twice and the first time my friend ignored it, but the second time his curiosity got the better of him because he was driving by the place on an errand. He was arrested by city cops and an FBI agent was there also. This happened nearly a year and a half ago and we just found out that his computer and digitial camera have been found to be clean. His attorney has been doing nothing and actually represents cops when they get in trouble and would let himself be fired. He was paid a hefty sum of money in case charges were filed. What is the statute for Missouri and federal. How long does my friend have to wait before he can get the arrest expunged. How can he get his property and money back without pissing his attorney off too badly and possibly making the situation worse.![]()
