    Default Can an Employer Deny Make-Up Time for FMLA Leave

    An employee received FMLA leave due to a parent's health crisis. They subsequently asked their employer if they could have some make-up time for the time they were off work without pay. The employer states that it does not allow make-up time for FMLA absences. Is that policy permissible?
