Default Can an Employer Treat Authorized Vacation as an Attendance Issue

If an employee takes authorized vacation dates, and takes most of those days as Mondays and Fridays off, can the employer treat the employee's authorized leave as an attendance issue? Can the employer give permission to take days off, then come back and say that if the employer keeps missing a high level of Mondays and Fridays that could be treated as poor job attendance?

Yes. Employers are not restricted in their vacation time policies, so they may define those policies as they see fit.
