    Default Texas Emancipation Questions

    ok i know i have already posted alot of questions on here and im sorry to take up space but i need some help!! i want to move out in my 22 year olds boyfriend house and im only 16 ... im going to try and get emancipated at 17 but can he get in trouble if im living with him? also if i can get my parents to let me move at 17 do i have to be emancipated to be able to get a contract for an apartment?? thanks for you time

    If you run away from home to live with him, there may be a law such as "harboring a runaway" which would apply to him.

    That's up to the landlord. Many landlords will not contract with minors.
