Default What Can You Do if Your Subtenant Refuses to Move

If you have a subtenant in your apartment, not on your lease and paying rent to you on a month-to-month basis, how do you make the subtenant move out when your lease ends? The tenant was served with a thirty-day notice, but they refuse to leave. The tenant says that I'm a tenant and thus not a landlord, and that I can't kick him out. I think I'm his landlord. This is in Michigan.
