Default Protective Services Interviews of Children at School

Can DCFS take a minor child out of class during school hours, and interview the child without parental consent?

Yes, they can. The typical reason for such an interview is to investigate a report of abuse or neglect by a parent, so seeking the parent's permission would actually impede the investigation.
