Default Can an 18-Year-Old Be Detained on a Charge Committed as a Juvenile

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Baltimore county md
I recently received a court summons for an arraignment for my 18yr old son.
It is on charges for a crime he allegedly committed while still a minor.
My question is am I still legally responsible for this now that he's 18 and will be 19 in 4 months even though this was committed when he was still a minor. Also he's a ward for the city of baltimore md because I refused to take him back into my home once he turned 18.

what do you mean he is a ward for the city of Baltimore?

it doesn't matter if you are liable for him now. It's whether you could be held
liable at the time of the crime. What is the crime charged?

He's a ward of baltimore city. I'm not sure until what age. We went to court on another charge he Had when he's was a juvenile. Since he was 18then I want taking him home so they made him.a ward because he had no place to go.

And I'm not liable now cause he's an adult. But I'm asking if I could be held responsible for the crime he committed when he was a minor even though he's an adult now...

    if
you could be held liable when the crime took place you can be held liable now.

The fact he is a ward is puzzling. The answer could make a lot of doffeeence
    to your situation.
