Default Can You Get Your Rent Back if Your Landlord Allows a Foreclosure

If you're renting a property and, into your second year of tenancy, you find out that your landlord has not paid the mortgage at any time during your tenancy and that the property is being foreclosed upon, can you get your rent money back? It's galling that a landlord could pocket the rent and not pay the mortgage, putting you in the potential position of being evicted.
