Default Probation Officer is Friends With the Victim's Rights Representative

I'm on probation. My probation officer is close friend with the victim's rights representative who is helping the victim of my offense. Is that a conflict of interest?

Default Re: Probation Officer is Friends With the Victim's Rights Representative

It raises a potential issue of conflict of interest, but of itself is not decisive proof of a conflict of interest or a basis to remove the probation officer. If you have no evidence of any impropriety, and are concerned only because of the friendship, that's not enough to have a probation officer removed from your case.
