Default Can a Hospital Let Unwanted Visitors Into a Treatment Area

I have an infant child and the father is on the birth certificate, but there's no custody order.

I took her to the E.R. and told the father she was there. He showed up with his mother. I said that I wanted her to leave, but the hospital would not make her leave.

    Did they violate my rights?

You and dad are both the child's parents, and apparently he gave his mother permission to be present. You don't indicate that there was any harm, or even a disturbance. This is the type of situation you will be dealing with for many years as a co-parent.
