Default Can You Continue to Serve as a Trustee After Filing Bankruptcy

If you are the trustee for a trust and file bankruptcy, can you continue to serve? Can you be removed as trustee?

Yes, you can continue to serve. Laws vary by state, but in general terms while a beneficiary might bring a motion to remove you, they would have to show that the bankruptcy somehow related to your management of the trust to succeed in removal.
