What is the maximum number of hours you can work in one day in Florida?
Are you kidding me. So it is legal to work 20hrs straight (without sleeping)?
you asked "what is the maximum hours you can work in one day in Florida".
Since there are only 24 hours in a day, that is all you can work in a day.
On top of that, it would seem there is no requirement to allow you a break period or meal period.
Florida has very little labor regulation, and there is no federal maximum workday under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

NO state limits the number of hours that can be worked in one day, at least for general employment. There are some industry specific exceptions where there is a public safety factor (airline pilots, truck drivers).
There are only two states which have any laws that limit the number of hours that can be required in a week/pay period, and Florida is neither of them.
