    Default Online Impersonation Law

My question involves criminal law for the state of: MA

Looks like some states have specific criminal clauses concerning criminal impersonation. Here is the California's:

    Does Massachusetts have anything equivalent?

    Thanks.

Didn't we already beat this horse to death? Nothing has changed since the last time we explained to you that MA has no law regarding what your neighbor allegedly did.

No. Massachusetts does not have anything equivalent.

I hope that this is now clear to you.

It looks this way and this is what I find curious.

Apparently fraud is a crime in MA but impersonation - at least of some varieties - is not. Which is kind of illogical, to say the least.

The law is not always logical.

    True.

But here we have a slightly different situation. Impersonation and identity theft is in fact recognized as crime by the MA criminal code:

But somehow it looks like the electronic version of it - unless used to steal money - is viewed as some sort of joke. Which in real life it is anything but.
