Default Harmful Statements Made to National Visa Center

I am thinking now- what a dumb person I am! How could I say something stupid as this to the NVC employes...
    Anyway,
    1) I told to one of the NVC customer service representative that I regret I applied for my mom's immigrant visa while my mom is still abroad. I should have invited her here on a non-immigrant visa and then should have started the immigration process.

    2) I asked one of the NVC customer services if they were going to do an FBI name check on my mom...

    3) I called them few times a week during the last 3 weeks to check on the status of my mom's case, and turned out, they keep the records!

Could you please tell me if my mom still have a chance? Or I have spoiled everything? Or may be I am overreacting and my questions are ok?

If there's something harmful that would show up in an FBI name check, then you need to worry about that being discovered. If not, asking about an FBI check shouldn't make any difference.

What are the full circumstances of the visa application? Did you falsely state in the application that your mother was in the U.S. at the time you applied?

Oh no. God, no! I did everything as I was supposed to do. Everything was legal.
I was just called the NVC and was too chatty. I asked them whether they were going to do the FBI namecheck. And told them that I was worrying they would. Because if they did, then it would take forever.

Also, I told them that I should have invited my mom here on the tourist visa and then applied for her immigration (just like my friend did).
So, I was just worrying that they might because suspicious and send the case for the FBI name check.

But, it is all behind now, because they did not send for the FBI name check and already forwarded the case to the American Embassy abroad.
So, I guess, my problem is solved.
Thank you very much for your help!
