Regardless, until the minor reaches the age of majority (NOT the age of consent), s/he is under the complete care and control of his/her parents. In other words, if Mama says "no dating", then the minor needs to obey Mom's order ... and so does her boyfriend.

For the question you are asking, the age of consent is totally irrelevant. Daughter is a minor - mom's house/mom's rules. You bet your tintype it's legal.

Age of consent only has to do with whether or not someone can be charged with statutory rape for having sex with a teenager. A restraining order because someone does not stay away from someone's minor child, even after being told to stay away, is an entirely different thing.
