My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Texas (Austin)
Long story short rent was due on the 22nd of July, I gave her 3 days she didn't get it in, gave her more time and now we are 16 days days in. She is not on the lease and delinquent $1,113 in rent + utilities.
Do I have to give her a notice of late rent formally even though she's not on the lease or can I just kick her out completely or call the cops on her as a squatter?
I've been really nice to her and understanding, I can't be put in this position any longer.
