Default How Long Does a Creditor Have to Collect a Judgment

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Florida, Leon County.
My wife has a 2009 final judgment that is now marked RETENTION MET FILE DESTROYED.
Can the creditor still pursue collection?
    Thanks.

Certainly, just because the state decided they don't need to keep the record, doesn't mean the parties aren't retaining it. If the judgement was from a court of record, it's good for TWENTY years. If it's not a court of record it is five years.
