I live in the state of arizona.
I am currently living in an mobile home park, which has recently been sold by the city to an private individual.
when i moved in the palce i am in now, I had to pay a lot deposit to the city.
since the park has been sold. I got a letter in the mail today that i am supposed to mail in my monthly lot rent, which is not the problem.
since ownership is changing hands, the tenant(s) currently living in the mobile home park should be allowed the opportunity to have their lot deposits returned to them, along with new lot rent agreements and so forth.
instead, the city is going to take the money paid by the tenants in the mobile home park and turn all that money right over to the new owners, which i feel is totally wrong, as that money does not belong to the city to do with as they please.
if anyone can help me out with some advice on this issue with the security deposits or lead me in an direction where I can get some legal assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.
