Default Must You Give 60 Days Notice For a Rent Increase on a Lease Renewal

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
City of Los Angeles. Do you have to give the tenant 60 days notice regarding a rent increase if the tenant wishes to renew the lease (after 1 year lease ends)? Contract says that at the end of the 1 year lease, tenant has the right to renew the lease under separate agreement.

Default Re: 60 Days Notice Regarding Rent Increase of Renewed Lease

    Read this:

    http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/l...des/lt-2.shtml

And if your rental is subject to LA's Rent Stabilization Ordinance, read this:
