My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I received a ticket for crossing the double white lines on the FasTrak Express lane from the 110 S. freeway to the 105 W. toward LAX. There was a mobile sign/traffic arrow positioned no more than 150 feet from the Express on-ramp indicating its access to the 105 W was closed. There was no forewarning the onramp was closed. As opposed to staying on the 110 S express lane and likely leading to my wife missing her flight (as the officer said I should have done), I moved toward the standard 105 W. onramp.
Officer Rodriguez filled out the ticket in near-illegible handwriting. After some time studying it, I deciphered the VC violation to be 21655.8. He did not write 21655.8 (a). I'm going to submit a TBWD, as I always do, but I am wondering if his omission of the sub-section letters constitutes any grounds for dismissal?
Thank you kindly for your time.
