    If you are serious about getting a job, you need to dress in a suit or nice pair of slacks and a tie and nice shirt and decent shoes if you are a man or a dress or skirt that is not too short and blouse that is not revealing if you are a woman. How you are dressed says a lot about you. You do not have to have money to dress decently and in a business like manner. The way you conduct yourself is also important.

    I think her main complaint was that others were not following the dress code, and still being serviced. Which honestly doesn't matter, anyways.

    4) There are no "protected class" issues here as far as I can tell.

    No protected classes? Then this was not illegal discrimination. As long as no protected classes were involved they are free to pick and choose whether to enforce the dress code or not and there's nothing illegal about it.
