Default Personal Injury Crash Report List

My question relates to legal practice in the state of: anywhere in US

Where can I get a list of people that are involved in accidents on a spreadsheet (name, address, which PD was involved at the scene, damage estimate etc)? It doesn't matter which state it is in. Is there a particular website that does that. I've tried looking and have no luck with it. I called LexisNexis but they only offer accident reports not on spreadsheet - lady I spoke to said they're not the only company that provides this information and doesn't know any other companies that do provide it in particular. I assume she can't direct me towards other companies. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance

I'm not looking for specific reports on people but a general list of all the people in an accident in a certain area - mainly to send direct mail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    JBlue

I doubt that you are going to find such a list. The cost of its preparation would be prohibitive.

Try contacting companies that sell mailing lists. There are plenty of them and they may have ways of culling mailing lists from accident reports of police departments or insurance companies.

I suspect that you will pay a lot of money for such a list, if you can find it, but I'm guessing you want to get this list on the cheap, which is unlikely to happen.

No such thing in California. There is an exemption in California's Public Records Act and release is governed by Section 20012 of the California Vehicle Code. It says information from traffic accident reports is only available to:

    ◦Attorneys representing any involved parties.
    ◦Drivers involved in the collision.
    ◦Insurance companies.
◦Parents if a minor driver involved.
◦Passengers involved that are listed in report.
    ◦Registered owners of vehicles involved.
◦Those incurring property damage or civil liability as a result of the accident.

Would you happen to know which companies do that? Not even sure how to type or search that...

Well depends on the cost - any idea what a company may charge?

    Thanks

    Not exactly, just information purposes..

I want to say all states have someone that does it for them at a statewide level just difficult to find the information.
