My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: North Carolina. How do i evict a tenant who is living on my private mobile home lot. We only have a verbal agreement with this person and he does not pay rent regularly. The home is not fit to live in as it has a rotten floor from leaking and there is no heating system. He also says he has cancer so who inherits his home if he dies. Will it go to his children if i don't get him evicted soon? Is a mobile home in North Carolina considered personal property if it is on a rental lot?
