Default Blackmail Over Explicit Pictures Sent to Somebody Online

On Facebook a girl 22 from france sent me a request and so I added her and we started talking, and asked for my Skype id and wanted to talk on cam, we went on Skype and she was talking to me. we had a nice talk We were getting intimate and she showed me her chest and she wanted to see my penis and she recorded a clip of me showing her and she then said that she got me on recoreder and will post it to everyone on my Facebook and all over Youtube.. she was trying to blackmail me into giving her $5,000 she said she is part of a mafia thing and she said and if I don't pay up that she will lace the video to everyone on my Facebook. So I told her I Don't have any money and when I called her Skype back I heard guys in the background talking in African and they were playing the gif of Me exposing myself, I begged to delete it and there was no girl at all, they someone used a video from a porn side because it seemed so real.. so I begged the guys to please let this go and they kept lowering the price and then I kept begging that I don't have any money, I live off foodstamps and they said they will delete the video but I don't know if they did.. Then I called the skype id again and found it is really an African boy scamming me and he wants money or else he will viral my video but while in chat it was a girl but the image was fuzzy..what do I do? he said if I block him that I will pay and my name will be ruined forever. He said he will put my video on YouTube and say I was with a 9 year old which was not true, the girl said she is 22 and she was but the guy scamming me ..then he said he will send it to Interpol as well if I don't pay him money $800.. But it's not a girl at all..it's some black guy who used a skype cam of a girl to trick me, then he posted saying he recorded me and which he posted the gif of me to show me he means business..he actually has an African voice and he showed me a screen shot of me on cam said he will be posting it on youtube then he said too late and that he posted the vid and he gave me the link but when I click it says deleted.. I don't know what to do..am really scared..

You failed to identify your state, but... while you can report all of this to the police in your state, if the person actually is in France (or a different nation in Africa) there's not a whole lot they're going to be able to do for you.

Yet another installment in the ongoing story, "Why you shouldn't send pictures of your junk to complete strangers."

If you expect any kind of help from a message board, you are going to have to tell us where you are. Are you in the US, and if so, in what state?

This is very common extortion scam to trap people just like you. What you do is just ignore it all. You don't send money, you don't communicate with the perpetrators at all, you block all communications with them. And chances are that they will just move on to someone else. And unless you have traced their IP address back to the source, I wouldn't put much stock in where they really are.

Forget about it and move on. Keep your junk in your pants and learn from your naïve experience and don't do something like this again.

They cannot do anything and will not do anything. This is just like the hundreds of other scams out there on the Internet. Also how would they send it to your FB friends unless your page is public? Just deny it is you if they do send it to people.

Lesson learned do not friend people on FB you do not know.
