My question involves real estate located in the State of: Illinois

My ex-husband remarried a woman with a 4500 sq ft house and a presumably enormous mortgage, because now that house is in foreclosure according the Will County website. The information is copied and pasted from the Will County website.

My question is one of custody for my kiddos, since they spend half of their time under present orders, also in court for parenting time revision. My ex-husband has told me nothing about these problems or discussed solutions.

Kiddos say they have been looking "at really ugly smelly houses that I don't want live in". I know nothing about the foreclosure process and understand even less. If someone could provide some clarity, I would appreciate it very much.

What should I expect after the sheriff's sale? How imminent is the sale?

Thank you very much for your help.
