    Default What is a Cosigner's Recourse Against the Borrower

    My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: florida.cosigned a loan approx. 9 yrs ago. he hasn't paid in8.5 yrs. has the means and excellent paying job. do I have any recourse? tom

    Recourse for what?

    It's too late to be sued (or sue) for it (5 year deadline from default) and it would have had to have fallen off credit reports a year ago.
