Default Residency Warning Issued to a U.S. Permanent Resident

HI, I have a green card and I make frequent oversea travel. This time I started oversea for 3 months, when entering the immigration office wrote down ACR: Advised res:req? What does it mean?

It means they advised you of the residency requirements when they admitted you. It's a warning to further officers (why they resort to notes in passports in this age of computers I do not know) that they have warned you that extended absences could jeopardize your residency status.

Many immigration lawyers suggest that once you have such an "advisement" in your record that you obtain a reentry permit on any subsequent foreign trips of more than trivial duration.

If you are spending more time outside the US than in it, it could appear that you are living elsewhere and visiting the US. This is not unusual. Remember your OBLIGATIONS as a permanent resident.
