What is the relevance of the recordings to the criminal case against you? Do you confess to domestic violence?
New York is a one-party consent state. If she knew you were in Florida, you are fee to make a police report in Florida and see if they have any interest in the matter (I doubt that they will), but that won't affect the legality or admissiblity of the recording in a New York court.
Yeah I told her she could keep the 15,000 diamond ring- cause shes marrying somebody else! i since changed my mind. i need it for lawyer costs.
Read the following webpage by a NY attorney:
http://www.dbnylaw.com/articles/engagement-rings/
While you would normally get the ring back under NY law (you would have to sue her there), that you told her on the phone that she could keep it might have turned it into an unconditional gift.
NY small claims limit is $5000 so you would need to sue in a higher court for a $15,000 ring and you're likely to need a lawyer to get that done right.
nope and you personally know what happened in the case now! Sorry to inform you but i would never hurt her.
Thanks and greatly appreciate for the help and information I needed regarding phone calls in courts.
