My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Indiana
I'm 16 years old and wish to be emancipated, and am preparing my information. I would appreciate opinions on whether you think this will be enough.
1. Wishes to be free from parental control: YesIC 31-37-19-27 - Emancipation of child
(a) The juvenile court may emancipate a child under section 1(5) or 5(b)(5) of this chapter if the court finds that the child:
(1) wishes to be free from parental control and protection and no longer needs that control and protection;
(2) has sufficient money for the child's own support;
(3) understands the consequences of being free from parental control and protection; and
(4) has an acceptable plan for independent living.
Why? Stepdad (safety/mental security)
Mom (sexuality/gender issues)

What they are?
would be responsible for any and all legally binding contracts including real estate transactions.
would have to be enrolled in the school of his or her choice
could sue or be sued in court
could apply for a work permit and keep income
would make healthcare decisions, including those related to abortion and birth control
would be responsible for transportation
would be responsible for living costs, including rent, and food costs
would be responsible for all criminal activity and the consequences thereof
5. Plan for independent living: Yes
What is it? To move in with P.A.S.
Will be paying rent and living expenses
Will assist with household upkeep
