My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
If a tenant moves in on the 20th of the month what money do you collect. A full month's rent plus 2 month's rent as a security deposit (unfurnished), then on the 1st of the next month they only owe 10 days worth of rent?
And if the tenant doesn't move in until let's say 10 days after the lease is signed, can you collect the first month's rent at time of signing?
