My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA
I recieved a stop sign citation.
The notice to appear citation states i violated VC 22450.
No subdivision was listed
I recieved a notice of correction, but some info seems misplaced
It says that my court appearance date has been changed from VC22450 to VC22450(A), and the box is unchecked.
Underneath that, a box pertaining to Vehicle code violation corrections is checked, but the info slots are blank.
Im guessing that according to the Notice of correction, I still have been charged with VC22450, which does not exist, and my court date does not exist/ incomprehensible.
I plan on doing trial by mail. I plan on saying that I have been accused of a violation that does not technically exist.
And the evidence is the notice of correction and the citation.
I want to know if the aforementioned has grounds for dismissal?
Additionally, i received this citation two months ago, I never recieved a courtesy notice, and there is no information on the court website regarding my bail amount.
If i pursue trial by mail, can I simply submit $35 as bail since I did not violate any existing VC?
