    Default Adoption from Foster Care

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Arkansas

We are trying to adopt a sibling group in Arkansas. So far, the CASA is working with the foster families to sabotage this adoption. Lies are being told and they are purposely misleading the attorney ad litem for the children. How much weight will this carry in court? The adoption specialist us, chose us, wants us to adopt, and has supported us from the first day. The adoption specialist oversees the visits (our visits with the kids) are going well. When this goes before a judge, who carries the most weight? DHS adoption specialist? The CASA? The ad litem?

We are not in a position to assess the 'lies' or what impact they may have in court. You need to discuss the case in detail with a lawyer who is familiar with protective services proceedings and adoption law.
