By your own admission, you broke the law. You also have a history of breaking the law and by your own admission, you plan to continue breaking the law. It is the job of Law Enforcement Offiers to enforce the laws and protect the public. They were doing their job. If you hadn't broken any laws, you wouldn't have anything to worry about.
Reason being is they're stopping "suspicious" vehicles in hopes to find a drunk driver. I already know how it works, you can argue your part however you like it but I have friends in the PD that damn well know themselves everyone is playing dirty at some point.
Also new question, if I agree to be put on probation will the charges be expunged? I have straight As and Bs in school and I am just a knucklehead sometimes. I am looking forward to pursuing a career in gov. positions and I don't not want this sticking on to my record, yes I know gov. Officials may be able to still see the history after it is actually expunged from the public record. Please someone give me some normal advice on how to tackle these charges.
I know how to drive, and everyone was sober in the car. I shouldn't have let them search my car anyways. Apparently pacing me going 100 on the freeway when I was simply going 80 and they were miles behind
So, you are alleging that the cops stop random vehicles without cause just because they might get lucky??? Why risk their jobs and freedom when it is so much easier to stop vehicle with reasonable suspicion? And what makes you believe this was happening?
Ah, you "know" how it works ... got it.I already know how it works, you can argue your part however you like it but I have friends in the PD that damn well know themselves everyone is playing dirty at some point.
If you are offered diversion, sure. Not every jurisdiction has an option for diversion. Also new question, if I agree to be put on probation will the charges be expunged?
You, and most every other teenager and young adult.I have straight As and Bs in school and I am just a knucklehead sometimes.
An open container is hardly a huge issue - especially if it is a one and only deal. Keep your nose clean and this shoul dbe a non-issue.I am looking forward to pursuing a career in gov. positions and I don't not want this sticking on to my record, yes I know gov. Officials may be able to still see the history after it is actually expunged from the public record. Please someone give me some normal advice on how to tackle these charges.
The time to worry about an action's impact on your future is BEFORE you commit the crime.
