As long as you entered into the marriage in good faith, getting divorced is not going to negatively affect you.
Your husband is responsible for ensuring that you are supported for up to 125% of the Federal Poverty Level which averages out around $1100/month (give or take). If you work, this amount would be deducted from his obligation. Divorce does not negate the obligation, either.
If you earn more than that, then his obligation is fulfilled (for that time period at least).
