Default What Charges Can You Face for Doing a Lawn Job or Burning Out

I'm just curious if there is any sort of ticket you can get for driving on side of road and burning out in mud. I see tire tracks off the road and was just wondering. It's not a heavily traffic area but u can see where people go in the MUD. Is that illegal or not? I googled and couldn't find anything. So can u get n trouble for driving in mud next to a hwy? Say 10-15 feet off road on shoulder. Reckless driving im thinking?

You chose not to follow the instruction to identify your state, but I'll infer from your username that you're in California. When you intentionally damage or destroy somebody else's property, you can be charged with any number of charges including reckess driving and vandalism.

Generally speaking you should be concerned with two charges. First, trespassing with a vehicle. Second, vandalism to the property in question.

Often a strip of land adjacent to a roadway is owned by the government and carefully graded to ensure there is no runoff onto the highway from inclement weather that would create a traffic hazard. The activity you describe could cost thousands of dollars to regrade, which in my state could result in felony vandalism charges.
