Default How to file Chapter 13 without paying for a lawyer

I'd like to find out how to file for CH.13 bankruptcy in Mo without paying for an attourney.

I have a home I'd like to keep, and three pieces of equipment I use for my mowing business I'd keep too. I had my truck repossessed, very little credit card debt, one unsecured loan. On the house I have a mortage and second mortgage, they are warning of proceeding with foreclosure in about a week. Like to keep the house.

I'm broke too and heard that it's not difficult to file yourself, maybe I can get some guidance here.

My income is abouth 30 k a year, very low in the winter months. I have almost no assets: a 1000 car, 1000 trailer, 2000 worth of tools I use for income. How do I file, and how do I keep the house? Thanks

I also wonder what will happen if I don't file B and just pay off the demanded amount to keep the house? I guess the mower/equipment loan co and truck co will sue me and I can work a pament plan with them. Will filing bankruptcy help me lower my house payments? I'm pretty sure I can afford to keep the house.

    Much to wonder

If you're in the Eastern District of Missouri, they offer a checklist and more detailed information directly on the court website. The Western District likely offers similar materials, but its site is presently down.
