My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Florida
My lease states "no Pets" and tenant sneaks in dog who urinates on the hall carpet. I gave tenant notice.
Condo management shampooed the carpet and billed me. I instructed the management to bill the renter as
they allowed dog to soil carpet, not me. They billed tenant who did not pay and moved out.
The manage then billed me saying I was responsible for tenants actions.
I did not allow the tenant to have a pet, and do not feel responsible.
