i need to know everything about emancipation laws and rights? i live with my grandparents cause i dont have a dad and my mom just got out of jail and i was taken away from her. and now i live with my grandparents. and my grandma is bipolar and she crazy, she says very mean things to mean and she is trys to fight me and she says she dont want me live in her house and i dont wanna live with someone who hates me and dont want me there. i can take care of my self i have family members to help me and i have a job and i go to school1 just help me1 oh yeah im 16 and ill be 17 in july!

To emancipate in Florida, the petition must be initiated by your parent or guardian. If you are still under the jurisdiction of child protective services, they may be able to arrange a different placement (but it may be foster care).
