My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Georgia. I want to get emancipated without getting my mother into trouble. My mother and I do not get along and she has told me that she does not want to be responsible for me anymore. I have been applying for jobs for months, since my plan was to move out when i turned 18, i figured i should start saving earlier. But now that my mom has shown that she does not want me, i have a bestfriend, who is like a sister to me, that will let me move in until my finance situation is settled. I have left before, after she told me repeatedly that she did not care about me or what happens to me, and she threatened to call the police on me. She hates me and i know this because when she used to beat me, she used to say that she did under her breath. I do not hate my mother but i feel that i am too much for her to handle and i know how to take care of myself since ive basically raised my 3 younger brothers and my younger sister myself. I feel like emancipation would be the best thing to happen to both of us, so i can take care of myself and my mental state and she can do whatever i prevent her to do that makes her hate me so much. I am not depressed because i refuse to let her words define me as a person and i hope that maybe when she gets rid of me she'll finally be happy. Is there a way to do emancipation quick, cheap, and hasslefree?
