    Angry Theft of a Utility Trailer

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: wisconsin,
    So I had stolen a utility trailer and I was caught and admitted to it. I have to go to court would any of you guys happen to know what i ould be looking at for a fine or charge??

    You're lucky you're not looking at felony charges, but even the misdemeanor charges you are facing are serious enough. Class A misdemeanors are good for $10,000 fines and nine months in jail. You should consult an attorney.

    i am going to plead first offense do you have an idea what might happen how do i fight it if i admitted to it.

    You can't plead "first offense." You can't fight anything if you admit to it in court. You can still plead not guilty even if you previously confessed. You should not plead other than not guilty unless you have a lawyer to advise you.

    It's a class A misdemeanor if the value of the property does not exceed $2500.

    Over $2500 is a felony.
