My question involves civil rights in the State of: Georgia
I have no points on my license. Here is what happened.
I was in a turning lane and the bus was next to a preschool which across the street there is a gas station and a bunch of trees. there is a video of my car driving by the school bus and a few months have gone by and I just received a letter in the mail stating that i was getting a ticket with the ordinance O.C.G.A 40-6-163-failure to stop at a school bus. it is a ticket of 300$ and when I opened the mail the court date is already passed. Is there any way I have a chance of getting out of this ticket or should I just bite the bullet and pay the 300?
