Default Travel While on Non-Reporting Probation

I am on non-reporting probation for dui in Pennsylvania. I want to travel on a Saturday to Illinois for just a little over 24 hours. I went to my local office months ago asking what I needed to do, and they stated that I would most likely be granted permission, but would need to carry a form on my person should I get in trouble with the authorities while away. I've never met my non-reporting po but was given his name and told that he operates out of another office over an hour away. I called and left a message stating that I had questions relating to travel, but he's never returned my call. Is it reasonable to assume this is a low priority for him given that he did not call me back? Could I return to my local office and request permission from any available po? I once got a severe tongue lashing for leaving a voice mail for my first po outside business hours and I don't want to be viewed with unfavorable regard by continually pursuing this issue.

    Thank you

While some probation offices would issue a travel card, I've never heard of a PA probation office (especially for informal probation) issuing one nor it would be necessary. Yes, there case work is usually high. Keep calling during office hours.

Or make the drive one morning. An hour each way is not onerous. Lots of people commute that distance every day.
