I am on non-reporting probation for dui in Pennsylvania. I want to travel on a Saturday to Illinois for just a little over 24 hours. I went to my local office months ago asking what I needed to do, and they stated that I would most likely be granted permission, but would need to carry a form on my person should I get in trouble with the authorities while away. I've never met my non-reporting po but was given his name and told that he operates out of another office over an hour away. I called and left a message stating that I had questions relating to travel, but he's never returned my call. Is it reasonable to assume this is a low priority for him given that he did not call me back? Could I return to my local office and request permission from any available po? I once got a severe tongue lashing for leaving a voice mail for my first po outside business hours and I don't want to be viewed with unfavorable regard by continually pursuing this issue.

Thank you
