    Default Misunderstanding of Jail Time vs Community Labor

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

    I misunderstood the judge I thought my jailtime was taking care of my community labor.., come to find out double chkn my paperwork to confrim court date today..it didnt I serve 96hrs for my dui and not the community labor. .I have a court date next thursday. To report enrollment of dui class. I did that but never enrolled or completed a day of CL.....what am Im looking at when Im in front of the judge California Law?=

    Need advice. ....misunderstood my jail time for my community labor, chk my paperwork to confrim court date which is next Thursday..that wasn't the case..it was 96hrs for my 2nd dui not my CL. I've enrolled in my18 month DUI program..but not a day or even enrolled in CL...what am im I'm facing when Im in front of the Judge next week?

    Dude. Sentences are your friend.

    Plead stupidity and ask for an extension of the time. Bring proof of your otherwise compliance. Waiting until your status heaaring doesn't bode well for you.

    You appear to be stating that you were sentenced to 96 hours in jail (and were likely to turn yourself in likely on a specified date), that you were sentenced to perform community service, and that you were sentenced to complete a DUI class, and that you have failed to compete any of the terms of your sentence.

    If you don't yet have a lawyer, get one.

    I think he did spend his 96 hours, it's just his lack of proper grammar and punctuation. The "it didn't" applies to "I thought my jail time was taking care of my community labor."

    If you only enrolled, but didn't finish your DUI class you're also in trouble there. At least, that one shows you're attempting to comply.
