My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Texas
I gave my 4 weeks notice to my employer of 18 years last Friday. Today I was told that I am no longer needed, and asked me to leave.
Does this change my voluntary termination to involuntary?
If it becomes a involuntary termination, am I eligible for my 4 weeks of severance pay (15+ yrs employment) and of course unemployment benefits?
