My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wyoming.
Me and my girlfriend both got in trouble last March, it has nothing to do with violence. I got arrested for possession and probation violation. The drug investigator went through my phone, which my girlfriend may or may not have used to sell a couple weeks earlier. I got bailed out only to find a week later me and her both got arrested, me for a felony delivery, and her for distribution to a minor. The 2 cases as a whole are completely unrelated other than she used my phone, my delivery had nothing to do with her But something that happened the day I got arrestdd they placed a no contact between us while we were both awaiting trial.
My felony was dropped and I pleaded to my misdemeanors and pv and am on 2 yrs supervised probation, she ended up having to take a deal that made her plea to both felony counts, she's going to be placed on 5 years felony probation. She hasn't been sentenced yet but met with who will be her probation officer to get her psi done and they talked for a while.
The officer said she personally wouldn't have a problem with us talking, living together or anyrhing, but that she was almost 99 % sure the judge wasn't going to allow it. We are both in substance abuse counseling and doing great and would like to give our life a shot and prove were not the same, couple we were, will he do that? Can he?
